Are There Extra Charges For Weekend Plumbing Appointments?

No. We offer the same pricing regardless of the day of the week, so you won’t pay a higher rate simply because you run into a plumbing issue on a weekend. The cost of your repair is based on the work being performed, and you’ll receive the full price before we begin.

Does Mr. Rooter Charge A Fee For Plumbing Service Calls?

There is no dispatch fee for clogged drain calls. For plumbing repairs, we charge a $99.95 diagnostic fee, which is waived when you approve the work the same day. We also regularly feature waived diagnostic fee coupons on our Special Offers page.

Can I Schedule A Plumber In Longview For The Same Day?

Same-day and next-day appointments are often available, depending on our schedule and the type of service needed. If calling earlier in the day, we are more likely to accomplish these requests.

What Areas Around Longview Does Mr. Rooter Plumbing Serve?

We serve Longview and surrounding Cowlitz County communities, including Kelso, Castle Rock, and Kalama. Our service area includes residential neighborhoods, commercial properties, and communities throughout the region. If you’re unsure whether your address is within our service area, give us a call, and we’ll be happy to check.

What Plumbing Service Does Mr. Rooter Provide In Longview?

We handle a wide range of residential and commercial plumbing needs, including drain cleaning, sewer repair and replacement, water heater services, leaking pipes, water line repairs, and fixture installations. Our team includes licensed plumbers, experienced drain technicians, and sewer specialists, so we can help with everything from everyday repairs to more complicated plumbing projects.

Why Does My Sewer Or Drain Keep Backing Up?

Recurring backups can be caused by grease buildup, tree root intrusion, deteriorating pipes, or obstructions farther down the sewer line. A drain cleaning may resolve the immediate blockage, but repeated problems can indicate an underlying issue. When appropriate, we can use a sewer camera to inspect the line and help determine what's contributing to the problem.

Will You Use A Camera After Drain Cleaning?

Yes. When an accessible cleanout is available, we include a camera inspection with paid drain cleaning. This allows us to examine the inside of the pipe and check for conditions that could lead to future problems, such as tree roots, heavy buildup, or damaged sections of pipe.

Is Mr. Rooter Plumbing in Longview Locally Owned?

Yes. Our Longview business is locally owned and operated by Doug and Georgina Johns, who have led the franchise since 2021. Our owners and long-standing management team oversee daily operations and customer service, while our connection to the national Mr. Rooter Plumbing network provides additional resources and support.

Do You Offer Financing For Plumbing Repairs In Longview?

Yes. Financing is available for qualifying plumbing projects of $1,000 or more, subject to credit approval. This can help make larger projects, such as sewer line replacement, water line repairs, and water heater installations, more manageable. Our team can review the available options with you before work begins.

A better understanding of your plumbing system. Sometimes a problem in one area is connected to something happening elsewhere. For example, a recurring drain clog could be an isolated blockage or a sign of a larger sewer issue. Our experience helps us recognize when there's more to investigate.
More options for repairs. From minor fixes to trenchless sewer replacement, our range of plumbing services allows us to explore different approaches based on the condition of your system. We want you to understand the available options before deciding how to proceed.
Tools and training dedicated to plumbing. We invest in equipment and training specific to the work we do, including sewer cameras, drain cleaning equipment, and specialized repair methods. These resources help us investigate problems and determine the appropriate next steps.

Whether you're dealing with a routine repair or something more complicated, our focus stays on finding the right plumbing solution for your home or business.

Areas We Serve

Why Longview Chooses a Plumbing Specialist

Mr. Rooter Plumbing has served Longview and the surrounding Cowlitz County communities for more than 30 years. Over that time, we’ve worked on plumbing systems in homes, rental properties, and businesses of all ages, from established Longview neighborhoods to properties throughout Kelso, Castle Rock, and Kalama.

Longview has a wide variety of homes, and their plumbing often reflects that. Older neighborhoods like the Old West Side, St. Helens, and the Highlands include homes where plumbing may have been repaired, replaced, or modified several times over the years. Homeowners may encounter aging pipes, tree root intrusion, and recurring drain problems. Seasonal rain can also highlight drainage problems, especially around yards, basements, and crawl spaces.

Commercial properties bring their own challenges. Restaurants, offices, retail spaces, and industrial facilities rely on plumbing systems that may see considerably more use than those in a typical home.

Every property is different, but our years of working throughout Longview and Cowlitz County give us valuable familiarity with the area’s building, plumbing systems, and common concerns. That experience helps us approach each job with a better understanding of what to look for and how to address it.

Local Accountability, National Resources

Longview’s Mr. Rooter Plumbing is locally owned and operated by Doug and Georgina Johns, who took over this franchise in 2021. Our hands-on owners and long-standing management team oversee the business and the service our customers receive throughout Longview and Cowlitz County.

Being part of a franchise doesn’t mean every location operates the same way. Our owners and management team make the decisions that shape how our business runs, from how calls and appointments are handled to how our service professionals are trained, equipped, and supported. They’re also responsible for how we follow through with customers and address concerns when something doesn’t go as planned.

Being part of Mr. Rooter Plumbing gives us additional resources, including established guidelines, operational support, and a network of fellow franchise owners. That support allows us to continue improving our operations while keeping decisions about our local business in the hands of the people who run it.

For our customers, the goal is to provide both: the accountability of a locally owned plumbing company and the resources of a recognized national brand.
