If you know something is up with your drain line but you aren’t sure what, it’s best not to wait and see what happens. Catching minor issues such as pipe cracks, clogged drains, and corrosion early can help prevent the need for drain replacement, but the point at which you call us also determines which type of replacement option we use. Plumbing Inspection & Diagnosis
This is the first step of any plumbing inspection, even if we suspect you need a drain replacement. Our Dallas clients can expect us to perform a visual inspection if they are not currently experiencing any concerning issues with their pipes. We’ll check out all of your plumbing fixtures, including your toilets, bathtubs, bathroom sinks, kitchen sinks, dishwashers, and more. We’ll also be sure to inspect your draining and venting systems, filtration systems, and the main shut-off valve. Sump pumps will also be assessed.
A professional plumber knows exactly what to look for to know if video camera inspection is necessary, and if it is, we’ll use specialized equipment to take a peek down your drain line. The camera may spot clogs in pipes formed of hair, soap scum, and debris, but it may also find damage from tree roots, toys, and other foreign objects. As we snake the camera through your drains, it will show real-time footage of what’s inside, also relaying via signal receiver the size of the clog. Depending on what we learn, we’ll move on to the next step of the process.
Drain Cleaning Service
Drain cleaning is only possible if your pipes are in decent condition and do not need to burst. In this step, we’ll use our cutting-edge hydro jetting technology—the name for our super-powered cleaning solution that blasts blockages through your drains and out into the main sewer system. This highly effective method uses high pressure to remove built-up dirt and debris from your drain line to prep it for relining.
Pipe Relining or Pipe Bursting
We will recommend pipe relining if your drain line only has a few small issues and pipe bursting if there are numerous or larger issues. Both of these methods are non-invasive and do not require us to dig up your backyard. In fact, all we need to do is dig one small hole to access the main drain line for relining and two small holes for bursting—one to insert the new pipe and one to remove the old current pipe. Both of these methods are completed within one business day and will not require you to stay at your mother-in-law’s for an entire week.
