“Trenchless” pipe replacement methods are ideal in situations where the customer prefers not to dig up existing landscaping or concrete patios and walkways. When possible, we’ll often attempt to rehabilitate your pipes via cured-in-place pipe lining methods (using injected resin to coat the interior lining of the pipe, sealing cracks and providing a smooth surface). But when pipes need replacing, Rooter Town Colorado Springs has the expert plumbers, who can replace/install new pipe and do so using trenchless methods designed to preserve your surface features. Trenchless pipe replacement means we install new lines without having to dig open trenches to access your old lines and install new lines.

One method of trenchless pipe replacement is “sliplining”, where we install new pipe inside of your old pipes. “Pipe bursting” is similar, except we don’t install the pipes inside the old pipes, but rather we use a machine that drills through the old pipe (thus breaking it apart, and simultaneously laying new pipe in the ground cavity where the old pipe used to lay. Rather than decreasing the diameter of your pipes like in sliplining, pipe bursting allows us to lay larger-diameter pipe than what used to exist, enabling increased flow capacity. If you have an underground leak or clog, ask Rooter Town Colorado Springs about our trenchless pipe replacement and repair methods.
