Mr. Rooter Plumbing of Central Oregon is a local, owner-operated plumbing shop at 62890 Peerless Court on the north end of Bend. Owner Greg Muensterman started plumbing in 1980 and opened this shop in 2006 out of a spare bedroom; today licensed plumbers and real drain techs work out of it. We are not a call center. The person who calls you back after hours is a seasoned technician, and the price you are quoted is the price you pay.
Bend plumbing is its own thing. Houses on Awbrey Butte and the west side sit on rock with long service lines; the older neighborhoods near downtown still have galvanized supply pipe and clay sewer laterals; and the manufactured-home parks on the southeast side are where the lines freeze first every winter. We have been in all of them. Last winter a customer heard water running under the floor with no provisions for freezing conditions. The copper line in the crawl space had split in the cold. At Romaine Village a failed water service took out the potable water for the whole park until we got the repairs made that day. On Awbrey Butte we replaced a water service through a lot where there was barely room to stand, let alone dig. Every one of those jobs started with up front pricing and a no quibble guarantee.
